Rich History
Few would disagree that 04IP03 has gone through waves of change since its inception. No other IP class has experienced such dynamic changes and ups and downs throughout the history of IP and this makes 04IP03 one of the most interesting classes around.
What do you mean ONE of the most interesting classes around? It IS indeed the MOST interesting class around, abundant with talent, character, class and resilience. Truly astounding.
Year 1 - 2004
The first batch of 'IP03-ers' was no doubt a bubbling ball of energy, evident since Olympia (orientation 2004) and the Nventure Camp held in term 1. 04IP03 was loud, energetic and cheerful. However, rumor has it that the class was initially disliked by many IP students for being bimbotic and bitchy and by the teachers for being rowdy, playful and disobedient (the class was notorious for not doing assignments and coming late for school).
Nevertheless, 04IP03 was an immensely fun class to be in. The class had students of various talents and was full of strong and unique personalities. Notable people include the famous PSLE top-scorer Wee Liangen and the infamous Choy.
Year 2 - 2005
Due to certain 'timetabling issues' according to the IP teachers the classes had to be rearranged. As a result, the old 04IP03 was disbanded. Higher mother tongue students in 04IP03 were removed and distributed amongst the other 4 classes randomly, while the rest of the non-higher mother tongues students were grouped together to form the new 04IP03. Many were displeased with this sudden decision and letters were sent to the IP teachers regarding this issue but to no avail. Many conspiracy theories have risen about this issue but no one really knows why the decision was made, although the common belief is the lack of Chinese-teaching staff in NJC resulting in timetabling issues. With the induction of a new IP batch, our beloved Chinese teacher Mdm Woon Yoke Fun had to teach another 5 whole classes single-handedly in addition to her existing 5. By grouping all of her 04IP students in one class, the number of classes she would have to take would be 6.
The second blow came when Wee Liangen left njc to join another school. As with the changing of classes, no one really knows why he left.
Many in the new 04IP03 must have felt immensely awkward or angry but the class got along well eventually (as can be seen by the class chalet at the end of the year).
It might also be interesting to note that the new class was also notorious for come to school late or ponning assembly.
The class was also the most athletic and came in tops during the annual sports meet, bringing home (tc34) the IP Cup.
Year 3 - 2006
2006 was another year of change for 04IP03. Two members of the class, Nina and Steffi left singapore for australia and china respectively. In addition, due to certain issues with the school, two more class members were moved to the mainstream cohort, further reducing the size of 04IP03.
Still notorious for late-coming, complaints and scoldings were as frequent as loud councillors who cant sing during morning assembly. However, the class stuck together and had a lot of good, fun and memorable times even though they all had vastly different subject combinations.
In addition, 04IP03 has also become the only IP class with the most amount of guys (a rare occurance in IP), foreign scholars, student councillors and ex-councillors and AEP students
Year 4 - 2007

Racial Harmony
When the class was formed in 2005, it resulted in a group of people from all over the world being plonged together in one classroom (TC34). We have Inndonesians, 1 Vietnamese, Malaysians, Chinese, Indians (and Malays??); and then we have Cil. Currently, as mentioned above, this class has also spread its roots to other areas of this planet, with Nina in Aussieland and Steffi in China.
Nevertheless, 04IP03 still remains as the class that practices racial harmony most actively; despite labels such as "whiteman" and "blackman" and "fat indonesian man" and "chineseboy" and "mat (pronounced as mut)".
