Where to find us

  • At the Grandstand: Well. We - as in all of us - usually arrive at school pretty early. There's nothing much to do anyway, so we'll sit at the left end of the Grandstand until the first bell rings.

This habit has been thought to have caused the Civics Tutor(s) of 04IP02 much panic in the morning; the queue at the Parade Square materialises only at the sounding of the second bell - after much brisk-walking. At least we're situated right at the end of the Square, so it doesn't really matter.

  • Orange tables: We, like the rest of the 04IP cohort, are rather partial to these McDonald-esque round tables. Apparently, the current batch of JC1 students seem to have developed a similar liking. Which is why a certain member of our class is rumoured to have made rather harsh comments such as: "People with no friends should not have the entire table to themselves," in an attempt to chase them away. Heard that she was successful.

Achievements

Helix Challenge 2007 (Please help to elaborate/substantiate wherever possible. Thanks)

Elizabeth Tan, M. Ghanesh and Yang Siya - a team from Terra House, known as Enjoying It - have recently brought much-needed glory to our beloved Terra house. They achieved 3rd placing in the Helix Challenge - a creative and engaging Intra-House Science competition organised by the Science and Tech society (I assume). Areas of assessment include a written paper, the throwing of projectiles, egg-dropping from the second floor... etc.

  • A side note: Why Enjoying It?

Brainchild of Elizabeth Tan: She reckons that the team name will sound truly apt when given the opportunity to introduce themselves, e.g., "Hello! We are Enjoying It! Woohoo."

That's our CT rep for you.
